What varieties do you plant?

We have always tried to plant a large variety of trees to encourage diversity and protect against the risk of species decline. So far we have used Hazel, English Oak, Sessile Oak, Hornbeam, Beech, Birch, Sweet Chestnut, Liquidamber, Larch, Norway Maple, Cherry, Cedars, Spruce, Scots Pine, Rowan, Eucalyptus, Acers, Monkey Puzzle, Sorbus, Lime, Red Oak, various fruit trees and other varieties in smaller numbers.

Can we choose the type of tree we want?

Yes! There are certain varieties that we plant every year including English Oak, Birch, Hazel, Cherry and Field Maple. If you would like to specify one of these varieties, or a mix of them please let us know when you order.

What happens if I buy my tree in June?

We plant trees in bare root season which runs from December to March. We understand that you may wish to pay for your trees monthly or buy for certain occasions. For any trees paid for after bare root season we will confirm your order by email and your trees will be planted in the first batch in December, at which point we will send your certificate with details of trees, locations, tag numbers etc.

Can I visit my tree?

You can come to help plant your trees however we only offer this if you are planting 10 trees or more.

Do you offer carbon credits?

We do not offer carbon credits as these schemes are costly to set up and aimed at large businesses who need paperwork to prove they have met their carbon offsetting targets.
